The two reactors of the plant were shut down since the early hours of Sunday due to equipment failure and transmission grip fault, he said. "The shutdown wouldn't cause immediate electricity supply shortage in Taiwan," he said. He said as of Monday, Taipower has 200 megawatts power generating capacity reserves.
