The new series of Palm hand held computers has both wireless capabilities and the ability to download MP3 music files. Seems only natural that the SDMC would be required in many cases in order to download copyright protected files. In some cases where files are available without copyright, the MMC might work, but eventually the SDMC is probably going to be the card of choice. My guess is that people who want the ability to download almost anything, whether in the form of email files, reports, or copyrighted music, will choose higher capacity cards that permit all of these applications. Since the slot is the same size for any capacity SDMC, I wouldn't be surprised to see at least some sales of cards with 64 mb or more storage capacity. In terms of numbers, I wouldn't expect more than 10 or 15 percent of the new Palms to be equipped this way, but that is at least somewhat encouraging.
