Don, I've come to conclude that Greenie almost has to do 75 BP tomorrow...

50 BP would be a disaster for the markets....and, surely, he knows that

100 BP would signal panic to some, put immediately pressure on the dollar (interest-rate differential)...but, most of all, it would be out-of-character (such a large move....especially since he didn't move intra-meeting)

Although I think Greenspan WOULD LIKE to do 50 BP...and if put to popular vote on the panel, it would likely win....but I think Greenspan will force the 75 BP...

BTW- I think a 75BP will be met with a small, maybe 30 minute rally.......maybe a day....and then down we go anyway...we really need that intermediate "fear-induced" bottom, IMO, given there is no earnings catalyst anytime soon...

Lame start to the very, very oversold condition......as if market knows Greenspan can't do anything, and bubble has to solve itself........RE: Oversold....Naz is like a plane in a death spiral....looking at the control panel doesn't seem to help anymore..
