Agreed, and partisan election debates reserved for weekends (if ever), but on LU even if they gave VZ a great deal, the massive signing helps enormously: erasing perception they are falling farther behind rivals, capturing the #1 buyer, generating revenues and keeping their people employed reducing attrition, giving the Agere IPO a much sweeter smell. This combined with sharp rate cuts and a gradual improvement is just what the doctor ordered. Down from 70 to 10, LU has a lot of ground to make up, but even a small spike is worth 10-40% on your investment now. Simply put the most beaten down ones have the greatest potential to make fast gains if there's a ray of hope and good news announced. If we get a recovery rally now LU could hit $14 again without much problem short-term. It could even go higher. And quickly.
