" This same quote was used in an article in yesterday's NYT. The interesting part is that the bull market began the Friday before these comments were originally made in 8/82."

I suspected as much. That makes the bear market over. I hope so. Bear markets end before there is light at the end of the tunnel. Just as bull market end just before tunnel collapses.
