IE doesn't run on Unix platforms, Navigator does!

MSFT's policy implicitly says that Unix users don't count. I use an X terminal at work. IE doesn't do what Navigator does for me there. Do you use X terminals?

I don't think that's a minor point.

My take on any C/S pair is: if you rule either the client or the server, you rule both.

So, although it may seem like the real money comes from the purchasers of the server, the decision to buy the server is influenced by the client you want to use. Also, just because MSFT gives their browser away doen't mean NSCP isn't making money selling Navigator.

Besides, most people I know will spend $39 for software they want. You can get all the free software you want, but you buy the software you need.

I don't think MSFT's browser will keep up with NSCP's browser.

I know NSCP.
NSCP's a friend of mine.
MSFT is no NSCP. :)
