PXML LOL BURBANK, CA, Mar 19, 2001 (INTERNET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Phoenix Media Group,
Ltd. (PXMG OTCBB) has issued a challenge to Disney Corporation. In a letter from
Phoenix Media's CEO Ronald R. Irwin to Disney's CEO Michael Eisner Phoenix
challenged Disney to host a twenty minute meeting between Manfred Moose and
Mickey Mouse. Citing an earlier correspondence from Mickey Mouse and several
other Disney characters in which Mickey and his friends refer to Manfred Moose
as their "beloved pal" Mr. Irwin opined that it was about time for these good
friends to meet.

Specifically the challenge is for Manfred Moose to meet Mickey Mouse at the
Anaheim, California Disneyland for twenty minutes. If, during that meeting,
Manfred Moose is not at least as well received by the children as Mickey he
agrees to leave forever. However, if he equals or exceeds Mickey Mouse during
this event then he asks only that the two companies begin serious talks about
Manfred Moose joining the Disney family. A full text copy of the challenge
letter may be found at www.phoenixmediagroup.com and a more detailed
presentation of the Manfred Moose character can be found at
www.manfredmoose.com.

We have seen many times the remarkable entrancing qualities of Manfred Moose
with children. We have no doubt as to his true "star" capacity. However, we do
acknowledge that his "star" could rise much faster with the backing of the
Disney Corporation. We are also firmly convinced that Manfred Moose is a
character sorely needed in today's often vacuous world of children's
entertainment. We therefore hope that Disney takes our good-natured challenge as
nevertheless being completely serious.

Said Ronald R. Irwin, CEO of Phoenix Media Group, Ltd.

Manfred Moose(R) is a character with character. He is fun loving and very active
with a very special fondness for children. He has written one book thus far,
although a second one is very near completion. He is further working on a TV
series and has plans for a major movie later this year. Full information about
Manfred Moose is available on his website at www.mafredmoose.com. The Manfred
Moose name, image and likeness are the intellectual property of Phoenix Media
Group, Ltd.

Phoenix Media Group, Ltd. is a diverse media, production and marketing firm
publicly traded on the OTCBB under the symbol PXMG. Further details available at
