Absolutely. It's not a market for bottom fishing (at least for the inexperienced) as patience may be worth the insurance even if it means missing the first gains to lower the risk. I've been watching for the past 4 or 5 months what I thought was a bottoming process underway in the semi-equips and semiconductors (SOXX). Not watching as a participant in that sector, but watching to see if the bottom forms and holds. I'm being careful to tune out what the 'commentary' is saying in regards to that process and simply focusing on what 'is'.

That same process will have to work its way through every layer of technology and the overhead resistance will be there and take time to work through.
