Gottfried, RE: market cap of 150 largest companies $1.1T $1.4T This doesn't make any sense to me. Since a year ago, Intel has lost more than $250 billion in market cap by itself. Add in Cisco, and you already easily exceed the SJ M-N's decline in market cap. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that the 150 largest companies in SV have lost a trillion dollars in market cap over the past year. Dang. When I put it that way, I'm surprised that the economy has held together as well as it has.
