dh: CDROM noise lowtech solution - copy to HD and play from there. And you get the full benefit of 52x while copying ;p I consider that so obvious I didn't bother writing it. That is, of course, what I do ;-). If anyone knows of some software to slow down a CDROM drive, I wouldn't mind knowing about it... -fyo
