"Now multiply that one little problem by all those in similar situations with the people within the Coachella Valley". Remember that the 1/2 Coachella Valley is served by Imperial Irrigation District, a non profit power company owned by the those who live in it's district. They had the foresight to purchase power 5 years out in the future at locked in prices....Tell your friend to get the %$@* out of So. Calif Edison Zone and get east of Palm Desert which is growing into a fabulous place to live...La Quinta, Bermuda Dunes...ect....Once I move east valley, my power bill went in 1/2....
