Ya know, Chuck, this is just the kind of thing that may backfire against AOL. At bottom, AOL is steering toward a closed pay per view system with proprietary content. Their plan mimics the Radio Networks of the 30's and 40's and the TV networks of the 60's. You will have to pay to broadcast and pay to listen. It will be VERY difficult for them to find a law which protects them from competition and the harder they try to use the court system to perpetuate their monopoly, the more apparent it will be to everyone (with the possible exception of yourself, of course :) ) that Judge Jackson's opinion was not a correct interpretation of existing law.
