Where's an Ice Age when you really need one? Damn Democrats. :-)

We have to melt the ice-pack first... The additional fresh water will reduce the salinity of the ocean and disrupt the ocean conveyor which distributes heat. That will create the conditions for another ice age.

As for being the "iceboy", that may not be a bad idea. Of course, you'll either need to have a generator or a solar powered cooler.
