Eurofools whine due to self imposed destruction. The mighty, all knowing, all wise European Commission proposes a lead footed, heavy handed solution to help out the poor dumb EuroSerfs who are befuddled that their all wise Socialist leaders have once again stepped into that big madcow pile that awaits socialist fools everywhere. Yes indeed, the governments should fund the debts of the Socialist telecom companies so they will have the cash to roll out their retrograde GPRS technology and W-CDMA 2004 vaporware all of which is, in the Euro Socialist serf tradition, so spectrum inefficient that it will cost consumers billions extra in equipment and monthly charges and quite likely result in mass radiation induced brain damage on the Euro continent and in the 3rd world countries that follow the Euro serfs like puppy dogs.
Clearly this a most rediculous situation. Yet the Euro Commission, bankers, and industrial leaders who created this cesspool of socialism stand like a deer in the headlights, like Bismarks idiot successor who did so much to cause WWI, all asking, how did all of this happen. The answer is that it is the system itself that sucks.
I suppose I have to admire the Finns who stand undaunted, trying to create value in a Socialist world and the Brits too were OK under Thatcher. My proposal would be to bring the Irish, Fins and perhaps the Brits into NAFTA and leave the rest to wonder in their Socialist house of horrors. It appears that we are entering a century where trade with Asian countries will be key to economic success.
There is a theory, which is probably wrong, that the Roman decline was accelerated by the massive use of lead in the cities -- for water pipes, food vessels, home vapor barriers etc. The theory goes that cumulative lead poisoning caused brain damage in the Roman leaders. I have a theory that, because children are most seceptible to radiation induced sleep problems and brain function changes, the Euros, with their GPRS brain cookers will creat a whole generation of disfunctional human beings in EuroFool land.
