Tumbleweed, Based on my Microsoft WinCE/Pocket PC experience, which is a richer multimedia experience, there will definitely be a need for expandable storage as you mention. It remains to be seen if people will be attracted to these options and what percentage of Palm/PocketPC/Psion/Handspring users will venture away from simple calendar/address applications. I think the Palm device is just the first in a long line of interesting new SDMC/MMC based devices. The SD Association has more than 200 members, so there must be other goodies coming out soon. Question is whether consumer confidence will pick up and people will start buying some of these devices. Now where is the announcement about Infineon's licensing of MMC? Aus
