Hey, hope that he does well.

Jersey has some screwball rulz. There is a kid who wrestles for Blair Academy that used to have the Heavy slot on my son's team before he XFerred to Blair. This boy is not only ranked number one in the country but also number 6 on the globe.

He cannot wrestle for the New Jersey team in the Nationals because he attends a private school. Ridiculous stuff. Unlike when I went to school, the powerhouses in New Jersey these days are the private schools. So, the politics of it is that they segregate the parochial/private schools from the public schools so the public schools have an even chance competing against schools they are more evenly matched with.

Fine, but if they are going to field their "best" team in a national event I think they should have the private school kids in.

Does not matter to the kids on the wrestling teams, of course. Penn State holds the National Prep School wrestling meet each year. So they go there. I just think the state is shortchanging itself by not using all the best athletes.

They held that meet in the SouthEast last year, I think I could find it on the 'net if I try. When I get a chance I shall look. Right now, I'm still Long one and waiting to see if the June Contract can bust the 1192, 94 area. If so, I think it can scoot to 1200 plus rather quickly. So I'm a bit distracted.

You told me once, what weight class is he in? Think you can get away and see him?
