welcome back don:

first off, i use a td gold travel card...it allows me to take all of my family on multiple trips up to 15 days each
(a 30 day option is available) and the fee is about $75 ...money well spent considering the last episode would have been about C$2,500

in regards to the mgmt team at dmx, there has been a great deal of criticism leveled....imo, some of it has merit but i think for the most part, it is a lack of info that is the problem

rebecca seems to continue to show little or no concern for having a cfo...while this could be a problem in the future, imo, it certainly has not been a problem to date (i'm sure the Chief will disagree as he was fuming before the AGM about the lack of info in regards to who was selling the institutional blocks)

rebecca has been able to get whatever funding she needed whenever she wanted it, and the latest financing was particularly brilliant.....my bet is that once the acqua money has been tapped and rebecca heads off to new york to join the big leagues, she will either be told that her existing finance team is adequate, or that she must hire somebody to "talk to the street"....she is not stupid, and she will do the right thing...acqua obviously didn't have a problem with the financial side or they would have laid down the rules before betting $50mm

in the meantime, a book keeper could easily handle the current record keeping needs and a CA could easily look after the revenue side and the cost side of a head office and a single plant with one product

i don't see the need for a marketing guru....the partners will take care of that, and there are basically only 10 clients in canada (the provinces) and the jnj advertising will spill into canada

i have no idea how the operations side is going since there had been no mention of production capabilities or efficiencies since last august...public companies don't make a habit of talking about operating problems until it is too late, so we will just have to wait and see

imo, the beauty of dmx is its simplicity....if any big co could be run by one strong leader, this is it....i have complete confidence in rebecca's ability to put the right people in place as needed

as far as provalis goes, who knows....it is inconceivable to me that rebecca made the decision hastily and she was forced to grab the only deal available....my bet is she was looking for the biggest short term bang she could get in terms of a timely mktg effort due to the very tight schedule that she is working on (while time seems to be dragging for shareholders, the company is about to take off in many directions)....imo, the royalty agreement would also have been a key consideration as the first deal usually ends up being the blueprint for future agreements

rebecca had better have all her ducks lined up as the shooting gallery is about to open

still we wait
