Finally figured out the printing problem and it was so simple that I am embarrassed to admit it, but, in the spirit of helping another that might fall into the same trap, here it is:

In the transfer of my 486 HD to the new 200MMX HD, I just assumed that everything transferred as is, including default settings. When I called Turkeyfoot Lake Road, the first question was, what is your default printer set at? For reasons only that Bill Gates and Andrew Grove may know, it was set at HP Color Jet as the default, not my HP Laser Jet 4MP as was the case in the past. Everything is back to normal now, humble pie and all.
