Yes I did, and I have essentially the same holdings as then. The one big change is that I've made money playing with options which I reinvested into the same companies at prices I thought were attractive over the last few months (goes to show what I know), so I have many more shares of the same companies worth far less. This has cushioned the blow somewhat in that the net worth of the portfolio is only down 36% YTD (only, ha), even though minus 49% is accurate when comparing what I paid versus what it's worth now. This has happened before. It will happen again. If everything is going to ZERO, we're all in trouble anyway and a few dollars in a mattress isn't going to save me, or, as the saying goes "in for a dime, in for a dollar". BTW, there is an excellent post over on the wind river board from Allen Benn. If I knew how to work this machine I would post a link. If I knew how to nominate a cool post of the day I would do that too. Alanrs AKA Alfred E Newman (as in "What? Me worry?)
