Clearly there is more cutting to be done. I think the only reason they didn't do more today was because they don't want to appear to be following the markets, or to create (additional) moral hazard that they will deliver what the market wants and what the fed futures contracts predict. I'm convinced that its quite deliberate. Whether or not that is good policy, I don't know. FWIW. AD
