Velo- the mere hype over 50 or 75BP in the press makes me realise that the market is fundamentally weak here.....look, Greenspan has lowered 3 times in 2 months...150 BP total....if that can't put a charge in the market?....why should 25 BP more (or 50 BP) make that big a difference?...surely there is some law of diminishing returns in there somewhere... But as important, I think, is the "hopeful" attitude about what 75 BP....so many looking for a lifeline...that's not the basis of a healthy market, IMO I'm back to thinking we need a real good intermediate-term fear bottom (and soon)....as the only springboard for a rally.... Back below 1900...ouch....look forward to your next commentary.
