Joe, We can always apply the "brakes". LOL!! And look what happened the last time we did that... I did consider the tax cut and the ramifications thereof- that's why I consider the half point prudent. However, to give some latitude as to its (tax-cut) merits in this equation depends on what version the Senate passes and still remains the variable ... I'm also not convinced that Greenspurt, as you call him,<g> is "on top" of this situation. Appears to me he is always chasing rather than leading. The tax cut, on the other hand, I agree with you whole-heartedly. It should retro-active to 1/1/01 and should be VERY significant by all rights as well. JMHO. Theo;-)
