What a day that was!

And I am sorry that you missed it. It was a funny day, with this big giant triangle on the Nasdaq futures. I tried three times to see if I could position for a move, but no luck, resulting in a net loss of something like 10 points in total, after the three tries. 10 points x $20=$200 loss x 2 contracts = $400 loss. Not bad, given that I knew that we were looking for a low risk low probability, high reward move out of a consolidation zone.

Then the announcement came, and the futures gyrated like nuts for about an hour, making no net gain or loss really...then it broke through the low made after the announcement and we traded on the short side. I got 7.5 points on the ES, so that was good, since that was 7.5 points x $50 x 5 contracts = $1,875.00 gain.

Then, since it is Spring Break, one of Sydney's friends showed up early and commandeered my trading computer. Ugh! Did not get the two other sell signals. So I did not get that last big whump to the downside, but such is life...and how was YOUR day!

;o)

T.

P.S. I'll be installing the IB Trader's Workstation on this computer NOW, just in case the kids get me again!
