TD doesn't do DRIPS in the formal way through the company and I have tried without success to get them to as some companies used to give a discount to the market. They only do drips in major companies and buy the stock themselves on the market with the dividend and charge $1.00 each time. They are a royal pain in the ass. For example say you have TRP and enroll in the DRIP then either buy or sell some stock. They don't automatically update your account you have to contact them each time to make sure you are enrolled. They treat it like they are doing you a service not the other way around.
