BRCM won't be the only affected. The energy problem in California is critical. I'm in the SF Bay Area. We had "rolling black-outs" yesterday, and we are narrowly avoiding them so far today. Stage III power alerts are the norm now. A stage III alert is where power consumption is within 1.5% of maxing out capacity. A very grave situation, and should not be taken lightly, by anyone. Worse yet is that THERE IS NO SOLUTION IN SIGHT! Spirit and others can go around saying not to overstate the problem, but I'm telling you, this is a disaster. We have not even had a warm day yet. The situation is dismal. Conservation, as some suggest, is not the solution. California is already using less power per capita than any other state. The problem is that the government here has made impossible to build any new power plants for the last couple decades, while at the same time, accepting any and all aliens (illegal or otherwise), and citizens from other states.

The population continues to grow, but no additional power capacity has been added. Now you tell me how conservation of power is going to help that situation.

I can't even get started talking about this. It just angers me to no end. And our current bonehead governor doesn't even have a clue.
