anybody shorting "before" the fed call would have been an idiot and a pure "gambler".. It was way to easy to just wait out the announcement and then short it once it started falling..I would have been doing just that but my uncle died two days ago, and his son gave me a call and needed help moving his stuff today. I figured this would be a good day to avoid the market anyway. rok
