russet, Great article to post. That shows this world from the inside and all the little machines working. Politics, science, cutthroat drama, sandbox thinking, and portable ethics. A chilly day in January, about two dozen dark-suited patent attorneys gathered... Good journalism too. Unfortunately, its all too true. I recall the scrambling among doctors to attend the company paid important conferences in warm and far away places. Reading the article demonstrates clearly the need for a very strong (too strong is 10 times better than too weak) leader running the show. Say what you want. That's my preference in spades. That article is the real world which is very different from television and its neat little fantasies. I'll take the she-lion for 400, Alex. Wolf
