Heinz...a thought on the (so-called) PPT. When we thought the acted last year (April 4th comes to mind, as well as April 17th), it seemed like they were dumping a bunch of yen (probably short) to gain funds for futures purchases. Now that the Nikkei is in such dire straits and being bailed out itself, could that be impeding the use/abuse of the Yen carry trade to prop markets here (I know, I know, not that it would make any difference in the long run). Just thinking aloud....

Coincidence? I think not.....
