The Computer and Cellphone illiterate will be able to afford PALMs before they can afford computers and before their third world countries are able to lay down Wired phones as opposed to easily rolling out wireless towers. Price will control Demand and Supply in the classical economic model, and PALM follows this business plan, and it and its "BETTER STUFF" is why it dominates every market it has entered.
