Saw an article in Popular Science or Popular Mechanics that talked about harnessing power from waves (from the ocean). Seems like a cool thought. Seems like there are plenty of waves out there with nothing better to do... Why not generate some power. I'd even volunteer to help generate some waves by splashing in the water or riding in Polvie's sail boat...
