LOL. Bahnsen refers to "the truth of the Christian faith", then turns around and accuses Russell of of philosophical bias. I wonder what his doctorate is in. Presumably not logic. I haven't read the essay in question, so I can't argue in support of Russell's beliefs, but I can certainly argue in support of my own. I do not believe that anyone was ever born of a virgin. I do not believe in original sin. I do not believe that anyone ever returned from the dead. I do not believe that there is a big Papa deity that grants the wishes of those who grovel and toasts those who don't. I do not believe in heaven, or hell. I do not believe in Satan, or God. I see no logical reason to believe in any of the above. There are a good number of other things that I do not believe, but those are enough to make it clear why I am not, and could never be, a Christian. I just don't believe the story, and if you don't believe the story, you're not a Christian.
