What reassures me about the HGT payout is that they actually got a pretty good fraction of the market price for gas during that period. Some trusts don't seem to be able to do that because of the way they markket their gas. That means that if we go on holding HGT, we can count on sharing in any further gas-crunch price spikes, while enjoying a fairly well supported basic level of income.

Am waiting to see how well SJT did --probably should be news today. Am holding it for income, but have not minded seeing a 25% gain in the stock even as the general markets have declined.
