I remember trying to piggy back Grant's investments in the Japanese small caps. Grant maintained that there were a ton of companies over there that are true Graham-Dodd net-net's.

Unfortunately, when I tried to check things out for myself, it turned out that these were true Japanese companies. All the annual reports were written in Japanese. I decided against hiring a translator and went in a different direction.
