Hi John, The empty space left after pulling a CD-Rom drive would leave room for three or four stacked VLNC 4x4 inch cells, depending on required voltage. I believe HP was among the OEM's with working samples and on the list of those whose understanding with Valence is "when you are ready, we will buy them." Apparently they have done some pre-engineering.

I remember when I stated that the day's in the low $6's are numbered. I am now feeling that way about the below $10 level. Thanks for your post.
