*** My Opinions ***

The Cisco-BWIF misdirected effort fits that description
to a "T".
Ref.. I guess BWIF are creating not only their own technology, but their own standards process as well via IEEE-ISTO grouper.ieee.org )

Perhaps the "My stuff is best, cuz it has our name on it"
attitude will subside, with Cisco's new relationship to the
OFDM Forum. See ----http://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=15532127
( The failing economy dictates it )

At some time, Cisco (IMO ) must come to terms with the
fact that a "Fortress America" attitude is no longer appropriate, or acceptable to our European customers.
( The failing economy dictates it )

We cannot however, fault Cisco for making a serious effort
to solve 11b security problem.

Perhaps they will abandon their "foolish BWIF" attitude
**** "My stuff is best, cuz it has our name on it" ****
in this case ----
and cooperate with all major entities to make
their 11b security solution a truly OPEN & NON-PROPRIETARY
product.

I think there is still hope.

OM
