>I don't think Microsoft is evil, but I don't think they have to control everything either. I don't think Microsoft want or will control everything. How large the software market is, $100B, 1T? How large the Internet will be? Even Microsoft becomes a $1000B, there are still plenty rooms for others. How large IBM is now? About 8 times Microsoft. I do think there are a lot room for Microsoft to grow, maybe not in desktop. Look at GE, how large it is? They are still growing. You can't expect a large company says "OK, I am large enough, I am stopping growing now." It will either create a new market or expand to other markets. Glad your machine works fine now. My experience is once you setup Win95 correctly at beginning, it should run more smooth. If you have anything not setup correctly at the beginning, either hardware or configurations, then there is a lot of trouble later. YuanQing.
