Yes, we are probably is a recession (since the official definition is two quarters of negative GDP growth, the official definition always lags). Two questions for you: Who is in the White House? Who has majority control of Congress? Gephardt and Daschle can now sit back and enjoy the fun part of being in opposition: they can snipe at the majority without needing to offer their own solutions.
