Look at Charts of SUNW, MSFT and ORCL. Scott's comment is perfectly in character for him. Of course he would want to associate SUNW with the winner, MSFT, rather than the loser, ORCL. And that desire will last only as long as MSFT's relative outperformance of ORCL lasts. Without any comment whatsoever on the relative merits of the companies, Scott brings images of scum and slime to my mind. Aha! He wants to point out that MSFT is doing fine in stock price and that SUNW should not be beaten less in this market considering how MSFT is holding up. Now I get it!
