I think you are right on. The tax cut will happen as Bush requested, probably greater in amount and more front loaded. he has made such a strong point that it is of just the right amount that when he signs the larger one he can say his hands are tied because the economy was so weakened by the Clinton Gore mismanagement. He will put it in a classy way but the people will get the message.
