Of course, at Costco, your payment options are also very limited. With Dell, CompUSA, and others, you are free to arrange financing or use a credit card. The only card Costco accepts is American Express. They will also accept debit cards. To buy a P4 system, furniture, or any of the other big ticket items at Costco you therefore must have cash on hand or an AmEx card (which is paid off monthly). This reduces the pool of people capable of purchasing the same item dramatically.
