NG to make gasoline - a quick answer -

Heavier oil (especially asphaltic oil) tends to have much more carbon than hydrogen.
Complex refineries which which crack lots of heavy oil (lower API gravity) use the
hydrogen from NG to make gasoline.

Simple refineries running one light oil may not use much, if any NG.

I would like to have a more knowledgeable answer from some one on this thread...
