And then they're gone.<< what you speak of occurs b/c management has problems. i work to avoid the problems and avoid these disasters. treating people like a commodity is a great way to have high turnover and training expenses coupled with lower productivity, quality and customer satisfaction. the root cause is not too many people. it is how those people got there when the business doesn't need them. management responsibility is key. if you hired me to do your dirty work then you are a punk. you are the problem and you don't have the cajones to solve the problem you created. the employee satisfaction of my reports is second to none. respect, genuine interest and truth takes one a long way. speaking of writing reports, why am i debating with some kid at the library in his grade school with no experience? let me ponder that one.
