Convince me that within the bounds of temporality, life is just and fair. It is definitely true that one human being can screw another and reap some materialistic rewards in this life. So, I don't doubt that people who choose to "go for it" can find plenty of pleasure to be "happy" about in the short term. It takes faith to believe that you have a real opportunity to be "perfectly happy."
