Not necessary; it was just that after I read the book, I noticed people in business using the term "inflection point" very frequently as I had not heard before. Grove uses it extensively in the book to describe a point at which two things can happen. Traditional businesses will transform themselves and go on to new heights … or they will not transform and start to decline. As far a biz books go though, it is one of the better ones I've read. Much better than "The Road Ahead," but then a recipe book is more insightful than that one:-)
