SOX up, AMAT up; Nas down to new closing low.

The Nas has now given back all of the 2000 and 1999 gains, and is well into giving back the 1998 gains.

Dow, S&P not doing well either. You don't hear to much about index investing anymore.

It seems like investors spent all of 2000 rotating from sector to sector, trying to find Safety. We are now at the point where there are no safe sectors, when people want safety they go to cash. Huge outflows from stock mutual funds. Sentiment feels more and more like it did at the last GreatBuyingOpportunity, October 1998.
