Interesting observation, particularly at this juncture. It is unassailable that the pan european standard vaulted gsm to the forefront in wireless. However, a lack of standards here in the US seems now to be paying off in the roll out of a superior technology. My preference would be for minimal government interference and let the technology deal with roaming and spectrum issues, BWDIK.
