First reports are that just the financial arms will move to bigger money center cities to be more centralized in US

Condit isn't saying financial arms, he saying corporate headquarters.

I wonder how serious this is? Normally, they would decide on the new location and then make the announcement. Even with 3 cities competing, I don't think there are a lot freebies to be gained with a corp. headquarters move involving only 500 employees.

Even their argument for a central location is suspect...it doesn't make much sense considering that most of their facilities are on the West coast although there are plants in St. Louis and Kansas.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
