I was watching a TV interview with Gov Gary Locke...his impression was that BA wanted to be more visible in highly regarded financial centers, mostly corporately: Financials, HR, Mktg. Agree that means corporate offices, but I was trying to stress that manufacturing would remain (even thou there are rumors that the Renton plant may be closing and moving operations to Everett).

Used to be when Boeing sneezed, WA caught cold. I think the economy is more stable now, but a lot of people still identify Seattle as a Boeing town, not MSFT (re: Sonics!) Guess Seattle Softies wouldn't be too far off these days <gg>
