Notify Technology and Motorola Sign Agreement

Motorola will brand both of Notify’s wireless desktop software products for use with its

Talkabout T900 and Timeport P935 2-ways.

March 21, 2001 – Notify Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: NTFY), and Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT) announced today that they have signed an agreement that would make Notify’s wireless desktop e-mail and personal information management (PIM) solutions available under the Motorola brand for Motorola’s ReFLEXä 2-way messaging customers. Under the terms of the agreement, Motorola will brand and resell Notify’s NotifyLink Standard Edition and Professional Edition wireless desktop products under the name of Motorola MyMailä Desktop and MyMailä Desktop Plus. Motorola will announce their new MyMail products today at the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) event in Las Vegas. Users of Motorola’s popular Talkabout model T900 and Timeport P935 2-ways will now have wireless access and management of their personal or corporate e-mail accounts.

“Motorola is excited about our relationship with Notify,” said Miguel Pellon, vice president and general manager, Wireless Messaging, Personal Communications Sector, Motorola. “Our 2-way messaging products have achieved tremendous success in the market and the MyMail solutions will now provide our customers with robust wireless e-mail solutions to choose from.”

Motorola’s new MyMail products will provide consumers, resellers, and ReFLEX service providers a comprehensive set of wireless functionality focused on providing secure desktop synchronized e-mail and PIM notification and management.

“Our relationship with Motorola could make our desktop software the defacto standard in the 2-way wireless desktop e-mail market,” said Paul DePond, President and founder of Notify Technology Corporation. “With over 1.2 million, 2-way devices in the market, we believe consumers are sending a clear message about their acceptance of wireless e-mail. Now, consumers using Motorola 2-way products will be able to use them to access and manage their existing personal and business e-mail.”
