I believe you are putting a lot of words in my mouth. I cut and pasted your words. . . as you did mine. . . . it is easy to misunderstand.
You seem to believe that as long as it is technology, it is immune to business cycle.
Now who is putting words in mouths? I never said that, nor have I implied it.
That any downturn is due to "inexperienced" CEOs or manipulations.
Again, I never said that "any downturn". . . .I said THIS downturn. And I am absolutely certain that manipulation played a big role in this downturn. Every day we see another story about the manipulation that is being discovered. I hope you have been reading every word of every post here. Otherwise, you will continuously misunderstand what is going on here.
This thread covers technology stocks, yes, I'm aware of that. But it should be an open discussion of good and bad.
If you have been here since the beginning, you will know that we have ALWAYS openly discussed the good with the bad. This is not a board full of bulls as some would have you believe. Not by a long-shot.

But then, the problem with any discussion board is that it is full of misunderstanding!
I fully agree with you.
And that is why on Insighters.com each board is split into a number of conferences, which are split into a number of topics, which focus in on a particular topic which is stated in the header. This should cut down on misunderstandings for a number of reasons. First, people wishing to participate, yet refusing to read hundreds of posts per day, can catch up on a topic, by simply reading all the posts in that topic, which might just be a few dozen. . . . as opposed to trying to sort through hundreds of posts in this linear fashion format. Next, the initial post which starts the discussion is not buried. And finally, a topic may be ongoing for many months, without getting lost. . .which contributes to the depth of the topic and the clarity of the concept being presented.
I hope to show you guys a glimpse of what I'm talking about VERY soon. We have some custom modules in the messaging area being delivered tomorrow which I've been waiting to see for over a month now. It is getting exciting as the light at the end begins to fill the tunnel.
